JOB OPENING

Job Title: Mechanic

The Lincoln County Public Works Dept has one opening for a regular full-time Mechanic in the Department of Public Works, Fleet Services Division, Davenport Shop. Under immediate supervision, performs skilled work in maintaining, repairing, and overhauling all types of automotive and heavy equipment. The salary range for this position has been established at Grade 1, Step 1 at $2,887 to Grade 2, Step 6 at $ 4,133.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum educational requirements are high school education or equivalent.
Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with necessary endorsements will be required to be obtained within six (6) months of employment.
Minimum five (5) years experience performing heavy equipment repair and maintenance or equivalent experience and training.
